  • Comments Thread For: Magdaleno: Tim Bradley Will Edge Juan Manuel Marquez

On August 24th, blue chip prospect Jessie Magdaleno (15-0) will face Jose Luis Araiza (31-8-1) at the Civic Auditorium in Glendale, CA in a fight televised on UniMas' Solo Boxeo series.

Magdaleno recently started training with renown trainer Joel Diaz who's stable includes Tom Bradley, Omar Figueroa and Jessie's brother Diego. Magdaleno said that he will still be the action fighter that the fans have grown accustomed to.

"You are going to see an action fight. Every fight of mine for the past 15 fights has been all action and nothing is going to change. On August 24th we will see who goes down first," Magdaleno stated.

On October 12th Bradley will face Mexican icon Juan Manuel Marquez at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Magdaleno said that he thinks it is an evenly matched fight but he fully expects his stable mate to come out on top. [Click Here To Read More]

Bradley's dial doesn't go to "Beast Mode".

That said, I like Tim and I hope he can make a good fight of it. I think it could pose more of a stylistic issue for Marquez.

If Bradley goes off plan and start trading punches with Marquez, he will get caught and finish off by Marquez

Bradley is hard to finish. I wouldn't be so sure.

Im not saying it would be easy, and Provodnikov almost got him. If Marquez catch him with a good one, I see Bradley getting stopped.

Marquez will finally look his age in this fight. Bradley's too fast and too active for him.

For those fascinated by the last Pacquiao fight, remember that was a one in a million shot with Pac's own aggression....and an accidental southpaw vs conventional foot step that helped that beauty of a right.

Bradly is not Pacquiao. Does not fight like Pacquiao. Is not as shop-worn as Pacquiao.....nor, as exciting; but......he wins IMO.
