now, that enzo fight was good to watch. Two clumsy trucks knocking into ach other repeatedly. not a lot of skill, but a good scrap and I was expecting Macca to fall each time he got clocked.

damn this was probs the most fun boxing day of the year, from the moment I saw Clev fall this morning to seeing Barker crying this evening.

Hopkins doesn't want none of this mad man. Hopkins prefers a guy who is tough but green and can easily give up in fights with mental midgets like Dawson, Pascal, and Cloud.

Karo Murat another easy tailormade hand pick by B hop.

Agreed, it was one of the most consistent weekends in a while. It's rare when we get entertaining fights two days in a row. Barker/Geale was more entertaining than I thought it would be.

kovalev got it done where it matters.

people are big on the power, but the guy has fast feet and throws combinations. he's going to be a very solid pro if his chin holds up and his pace can be sustained for 12 rounds.

Well it seems we got the guy who is not like that. There is something quite mean and arrogant about Kovalev that's not often seen in fighters from the East.

                It's entertaining but I still prefer GGG's and Klitschko's.
He hangs around too many Black Yanks like his trainer John David Jackson.

Kova reminds me a lot of Pacquiao with his fast footwork and in and out odd angled flurries, relentless flurries and when he hurts a guy he jumps right on them till they fall again. he sets everything up with soft flurries followed by heavy shots, thats what Pac used to do in his prime he would throw a ton of flurries and mix heavy punches in the mix it confuses the brain so the opponent can't adjust to the type of power that will come, he thinks he is getting hit with some arm shots than wham a hard punch rocks him.

This guy Kovalev is the truth man, I want B hop to fight him.

Kovalev doesn't back down either most opponents that B hop faces are mental midgets and their activity dies down, this guy will keep coming.

"As Kovalev made his way down to the ring, the local fans were yelling all sorts of insults at the boxer and many of them showered the Russian national anthem with a chorus of boos."

I don't like Russians because of some reasons (nobody is perfect)...
But booing a national anthem is very low...
... And first of all Kovalev is a hell of a boxing fighter, who deserves respect for what he achieves into the ring...
(As about the Russian mob: I remember that the word "mobster" was invented elsewhere...)
