As I watched the fight last night, I could only think of Rigondeaux vs. Guillen. I see the fight ending in the same fashion. Rigondeaux will not let those looping lefts and rights go unpunished.

True but styles make matchups,,, and fighters can get better after losses,,,

serg got blown out by margs and became a better fighter, same with manny, MAB, not saying that kiko is on that level but at the moment he looks like a legit opponent for RIgo..

        1. kiko now has a belt

        2. Rigo is in desperate need of a quality opponent

        3. Kiko has the style to make a Rigo fight entertaining,,,,

Not saying that rigo-kiko is a superfight, but would be a decent HBO fight

That's what I'm saying, Frampton whooped Kiko into the middle of next week, how is he even being considered as a legit challenge to Rigo??

Kiko is the best available opponent atm. Terrazas has a fight with Cruz, Frampton and Quigg have fights lined up and both have said they aren't ready.

Frampton's team don't want him in the ring with Rigo............NEXT.

I agree, Kiko is the type of opponent to make Rigo look great while still providing a good fight.

People saying rigo would destroy kiko have no clue. It would be a tougher fight than donaire for rigo. Kiko's style is actually the only style that can beat rigo's because nobody is ever going to outbox rigo nobody. If you're going to beat rigo you would have to impose your style and will on him.

Think of mares-moreno, margarito-cotto I, segura-calderon etc. Now I know rigo has more power but still as I said you're not going to outbox rigo anyway so might well make it a fight and Kiko is a natural at that.

And now Frampton is having two IBF eliminators to get a shot at the guy he just KO'd!
