Yep another thread on British boxers...
Was just thinking, could the loyalty of British fans be a reason why our fighters are hyped to the hill and back?
Chisora is a great example, most of us don't like the guy and he loses against the best but we'll still back him and say he can win against some decent boxers!
I don't see many other countries (maybe with exception of Mexico) that will back some of their B and C list countries no matter what.
This leads me to a question, is the overhyping a good or bad thing?
Personally I think its good for boxing as the B/C list boxers fight in front of decent sized audiences against USA for example where unless you are an A list star like Mayweather / Broner you'll find it hard to sell out an arena.
