I think Donaire is lined up for the Cruz/Salido winner. I doubt they match up Lomanchenko vs. Donaire.

Maybe they put him in there with Gradovich.

Makes more sense and would be easy to make.

I don't think Lomachenko will fight for a title in his first fight. Second most likely.

I also don't think they'd throw Gradovich to the wolves (as crazy as it sounds with Lomo having 0 pro fights) hes only had 17 fights and won his title on short notice and he looked fantastic in his last fight, you can see him improving every day. I think they try to build Gradovich a little more, I've also heard that HBO really liked his last fight as well and are fans.

Insanity! They don't even know if the kid will be a good pro. Don't be surprised if Oquendo ices the rookie. Wow.

              The title holders are:

              IBF - Gradovich
              WBA - Chris John
              WBC - Abner Mares
              WBO - Salido/Cruz

So if Lomenchenko were to get a title shot it would have to be either Gradovich or Salido/Cruz. And if Donaire gets Salido/Cruz that just leaves Gradovich.

And Donaire can't fight Gradovich because they have the same trainer.

He just needs one fight to change that, that's why they're targeting Oguendo

I think people are thinking to higly of Lomachenko. I recon he is a beats as an Amateurm but when I saw him fight verdejo, he didnt like his style will transition that well to the pros. He might beat some decent guys, but I think them rushing him will end up in a tragedy.

I was thinking that the Salido/Cruz winner would be the fight they give Lomo after his first. I haven't kept up with Donaire news lately so I was under the impression he was slated to rematch Darchinyan next.
