It wasn't exactly a beat down and Donaire won a fair share of rounds plus he wasn't really hurt till the last round. It's nowhere in the league of some of the fights mentioned here.

I was going to mention Resto v Collins but that should never be mentioned as a boxing match in all honesty.

A recent significant fight that comes to mind is Donaire-Montiel.

luckily for hopkins, he flew under the radar for so long that no one even knew how dirty a fighter he was and thus not privy to his using his head as a weapon in the fight.

crafty ... dirty is more the word.

Pacquiao vs. Ledwaba - another forgotten gem. Pacman had 2 weeks notice he was a late replacement and brought in as a credible but easy opponent to build up and showcase Ledwaba, instead it was Pacman who dished out a one sided beating of the man who had better boxing skill and was considered hands of stone. A star was born that night and he has fought on HBO ever since.

              Pacquiao vs. David Diaz.

Good list man. Froch/Abraham and Jones jr vs Toney were mismatches too

Roy jones vs Griffin II as well
