    What happened to Kubrat Pulev

I first watched him fight against an eastern block giant called Ustinov and i was very impressed at the skill he showed. I watched a few more of his fights and he reminded me of a throw back heavy weight from the 70's and 80's. Then i saw a recent fight against the American Travis Walker and he looked absolutely crap.

This version of Kubrat Pulev that struggled against Travis Walker would loose to Tony Thompson next Week. Kubrat Pulev's performance in that fight was so lack luster and he kept missing his punches and eating punches from Walker that should never have landed. I hope that poor performance was a one off because of the fact that was around the time that he was getting Married to his Bulgarian celebrity girlfriend. Maybe mentally he was not there and physically unprepared.

if we are lucky we will see the old Pulev against Tony Thompson because i expect Tyson Fury and Pulev to be the two best Heavy weights after the Klitschko era. Deontay Wilder in am not sure about and he confuses me lol so i will have to look into him before i pass judgement.

If he loses to Thompson then we are talking about a really sad state of affairs in the heavyweight division, that said I don't think he will, he beat the **** out of price in the amateurs and is a far better fighter, he should beat Thompson wide on points

I think this is what should happen but like i said his performance against Travis Walker was not good enough to compete with the best in the heavy weight division.

From what i have seen, Skill wise Pulev and Fury are best Young heavy weights. Fury likes to get into all out fights/brawls but his perfomance against Kevin Johnson was a masterclass in Modern heavy weight boxing where boxers have become so large that they dont need to be proficient in pure boxing ability like Heavy weights from the 60's.70's,80's and 90's

Pulev fought Ustinov after fighting Walker. I don't see how the Pulev from the former bout is the 'old' Pulev.
