Atlantic City, New Jersey - Former European champion Kiko Martinez (29-4, 21 KOs) has bounced back in a big way with an unexpected sixth round TKO of previously undefeated Jhonatan “Momo” Romero (23-1, 12 KOs) to capture the IBF super bantamweight championship. Kiko did awesome. He convinced me early on that he'd win the fight, because even when Romero was trying to box and move more, Kiko would always get him up against the ropes and start punishing him. After a while Romero looked super uncomfortable and even looked a couple times like he had lost all his will. Very entertaining while it lasted though.
