Stevenson was moving up from 168 when he starched Dawson and sys he can still make that weight. He and GGG at 168 is an excellent fight, IMO. Much more interesting than this Stevens garbage.

People were saying the SAME thing about Stevenson/Dawson, how Stevenson was not in Dawson's league, didn't belong in the ring with him. ANYONE with a huge punch is the great equalizer.

stevenson destroyed every other opponent he faced. stevens was dominated by dirrell, dominated by brinkley, ko'd by a journeyman, and just recently went life and death and was dropped by another journeyman. anything can happen sure but stevenson just got caught while stevens is an actual bum.

Anyone who mentions Brinkley needs to quite watching Boxing. Do you know how many guys have lost to the Brinkley's of the world and went on to win titles???? Never heard of Freddie Pendalton????? Never heard of Orlando Salido?????? Never heard of ADONIS STEVENSON?????????? Of course no one here has ever heard of Buster Douglass who was stopped by 12-5-1 Mike White and couldn't go 2 rounds with David Bey???????? Remember Douglass??? Guess what he did? Curtis Steven may only have a 1 in 10 chance but that doesn't change the fact that SHT happens. Many who have done less have gotten title shots. This fight will end in KO one way or another. Go watch a boring snoozer fight instead then.

PPPUUUULLLLEEEAAASSSEEE!!! Stevenson has NEVER been in the ring with anyone as good as Dirrell and even Brinkly is better than Boone was. Do you know how many losses Boone has???!!!!!!! You FORGET one thing!!! They were calling Stevenson just an opponent for Dawson to get his confidence back....they said Stevenson didn't belong in the ring with Dawson. There is NO difference and Boxing history is littered with examples where guys lose to club fighters and go on to win the title. It is far from impossible and Stevenson just proved that against Dawson. I bet you were one of those who said Stevenson didn't belong in the ring with Dawson. You are not getting it through your head, ANYTHING can and does happen in Boxing. If you don't like Stevens getting the shot then go throw rocks at GGG's bedroom window.
