Not true. Once again, you are trying to twist my words to suit your agenda. I simply said he had 3 #1 contenders on his resume. Which is true. The fact that two of them went on to do it afterwards, just add to the value of the victory, since these guys went on to beat good fighters, but Clev had popped their cherry.

This kovalev guy is serious. I still feel like his skills are not the best, so when he fights a smart boxer like Bernard Hopkins, I think he will maybe come up short. But Nathan has a very very good chin, and he just destroyed him.

Had a bad feeling when Clev walked towards the ring. You could almost sense he was walking towards his funeral.

Funny thing was, Kovalev's shots didn't seem to be THAT crispy in the first two rounds. Maybe it's the TV. But he stepped it up in the 3rd. damn,

I think you guys are being a little bit too harsh on dirk diggler IMO. From what I understand, he wasnt even talking crap, he didn't even say Cleverly would KO Serg 100% sure or anything like that.... I believe he said he thought it was a 50/50 fight.



With taht being said I disagreed with him and I've stated multiple times Kovalev is going to run through Cleverly. Hes that good. Glad people are finally starting to see Kovalev on the big stage.


On a semi-related note ( i just posted this in the RBR) my prediction before the fight was Kovalev via 3rd round KO and I dropped 200$ on the 3rd round KO, that referee screwed me over big time!!!! I would of made almost 1000$ !!!!

Kovalev will stop cleverly within 5 IMO.

Lol. most def a troll but regardless I believe Kovalev would beat Hopkins at this point. Kovalev beats anyone at 175 IMO and ive been saying this for months now time and time again, the only person who i think even has a sligthest bit of a chance against Serg is Ward (Im not saying ward only has a slight chance. but that hes the only one with a chance whatsoever) with that being said I've also stated I think Kovalev is the one to finally beat Ward, and now i think that fight is almost 100% happening next year. Ward would have an easier time with GGG, IMO.
