You were talking about how he earned his title and the fact he isn't a 'tomato can', I answered..

        There you go.

Like I said, when your best win is Bellew (and that was a win that could have gone either way) you haven't really done much and you're a world champion; it's embarrassing.

Cleverly just hasn't fought anyone of note IMO.

I read on a thread that he wasn't making any bold predictions because that's how you end up looking ******.

I never thought it was a 50/50, I put money on Kovalev and I haven't bet on boxing in a long time.
I thought it was 50/50 only because of location... other than that I was on Kovalev.
I ended up not doing anything, but that Evol guy is parading around... I think the thread you're talking about is mine and they got into a circle jerk there

Where did I say he earned his title? Which he did btw, but that's besides the point. he was mandatory for a long time whilst Braehmer dropped out twice. They did the right thing.

No it couldn't. It was close but clear. I'm not saying he has beaten elite fighters, but to call them tomato cans is a bit much and not true. His resume was equal if not better than Kovalev's at the time of the fight.

Other than Bellew & Murat, you think the likes of Karpency/Hawk/Krasniqi/etc are nothing more than tomato cans? Ok at best Euro bums, is that better? Because that's there level and if I'm honest; that's Cleverly's level too.

All Cleverly has is work-rate. That's all I've ever really seen from him. Never been impressed.

Kovalev was blasting through his guys. He showed he was on another level.

Krasniqi, Bellew, Murat are better than Darnell Boone that's for sure. He was one of Kovalev's best wins. out of shape campillo, who didn't throw a punch before the 3 rounds is nothing but a name. Cornelius White, good fighter but not as good fighter but had also been KOd before.

Clev is quite clearly the best on Kovalev's resume. and that is by quite a stretch.

I never asked you this, I just threw some info regarding how Clev earned his title when you and P4P were on the subject of his resume, and my reply was implying that he didn't earn the title because he didn't fight the champ, who was Braehmer who pulled out due to a eye injury.

Here's a source regarding the fight being called off: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/13440189

Braehmer, 32, was due to face Cleverly, 24, at London's 02 Arena on Saturday, but a cut eye suffered in training on 8 May has failed to heal.
The German won the WBO belt in 2009 and has made one defence but could now be stripped of his title.
If so, Cleverly - the interim champion - will be awarded the title by default.
