  • Yahoo.com predicting Manny Pacquiao Vs Rios ppv failure?

    http://sports.yahoo.com/news/manny-p...172700028.html

I'm shocked as normally Yahoo.com seems to think that Pacquiao is the PPV star with nothing stopping his rise.

Do you think Pacquiao Vs Rios PPV will fail? And when you say fail do you mean lower than Pacquiao's normal numbers? Under 1 million? 800,000?

Coming off a devastating loss and fighting outside US the PPV numbers will be well under 1 mil, i'm talking 500,000 maybe lower.

He might well do less, isn't it on in the morning in the US? However, they're aiming for the Chinese market.

I see your point, however it can also be a major success, the population in China is HUGE and they just might be able to draw more people over to the sport possibly.

Arum will be making more money for this fight because most is the PPV money will be coming from the China market. The overall PPV number in the states won't be as good because they're not fighting in the states.

Too early to tell, but no way is it below 500k.
I don't think it does worse than Bradley

Arum said it will on the same time as usual here in the states for the PPV so I'm assuming they're fight in the early hours over there.
