Hang out in some real boxing gyms and you will find out that fighters are rarely afraid of another fighter. Arum built and marketed pac using the same tactics he used wirh cotto. That pac is the one to beat floyd and floyd is afraid of pac. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Brilliant on arums part. They also kept pac away from boxers to make him look good. They made a huge mistake when they fought Jmm. No book maker had pac as a favorite to beat floyd. And the majority of trainers had floyd beating pac with ease. I predicted a 7th round ko due to pacs horrible defense and being wide open to lead right. His penchant for rushing in could have met floyds check hook. But thats imo. I dont think for a second that pac or floyd is afraid of each other. And i think its quite silly when i read floyd ducked pac because he is scared. The real problem is arum.

Yeah it's laughable when I see some of these fans talking about he scared lol... Arum is the only reason this fight would never happen and no one would ever convince me otherwise no matter what rubbish Mayweather or Pacquiao says in the media.

It's been explained a million times by Dan Rafael and many others. Pac's declared purse is not his full purse. It's not even his guarantee. They do it for tax reasons. Look it up, Pac's recent guarantees ar in the 26m range.

40m is not an offer to Pac anyway, it's for Pac to split with TR. After Arum's 27%, 29m left for Pac. Nowhere near 2x, more like 12%

Looking back, I remember Floyd made that racial video about Pac. And I always say "the ones with the most fear, are the ones who talk the most hate". You dont see Floyd making any hate video about anyone else except the one he made for the "little man". Even tho I think he can beat Pac easy, Floyd is giving it ZERO chance that the "little man" beats him.

I understand that, and I think he has a right to take that stance. What i'm saying is that regardless of Floyd's position, If Manny can get past Rios and the Bradley/Marquez winner, it becomes an interesting matchup once more, and I wouldn't mind seeing it.

I don't see the implication. There's lots of reasons for an audit, he's probably bleeding money like 90% of all boxers.

- Hatton - Two fight winning streak. Manny fought Hatton where Hatton was king and never lost at. Floyd fought Hatton where Hatton was very average fighter and had only fought once at.

- Cotto: Two fight winning streak. Even when Floyd fought Cotto, he said "Cotto is undefeated in my eyes"

- Margo: Won his last fight. It was Manny's first fight above 147. Margarito lost to Mosley but going into that fight, Margarito knew he was in big trouble due to what they found out (bricks). So Margo was not all there that night.

- Morales - Yes he lost his last fight but that was at a division above 130. Morales last fight at 130, he beat Manny. It was an expected revenge fight that turned into a trilogy.

Even then, who cares if they lost or not. I would rather face an opponent that represents the toughest opponent and lost than a guy that is undefeated but people give him very little chance of winning the fight.


It's like people saying, Frazier and Norton lost badly to Foreman so I would not like to see Ali fight Frazier nor Ken Norton ...... YIKES!!! When you fight the best in your respective division someone will lose but that doesn't mean that fighting them after that will be considered a "bad fight".

Except for perhaps Margo (still a very tough cookie), all the above fighters, those fighters were still considered the toughest or one of the toughest opponents in their respective weight class.

If Floyd loses to Canelo next, should opponents be avoiding Floyd because he lost?

If Canelo wins, it's up to Floyd to put himself back in position for big meaningful fights. They can't just be handed to him.
