My 3rd Boxing Poem: Dedication to a Heavyweight(I got it right this time)

    1st Boxing Poem:

    2nd Boxing Poem:

Thanks to IronDanhazma.. I now understand that poems need to rhythm.

    So here it goes

Brutality and racism yet still I stand.
Alone and battered with no helping hand.
Jeffries down twice.. I won the fight.
Yet I doubt I'll be able to sleep well this night.
    Independence day? Not for me.
Riots and terror ... why can't you just let a man be.
Maybe one day.. I'll get up and finally celebrate the fourth.
Boxing history... I am Jack Johnson did I prove my worth?

I have one to how's this.

I liked this one much more then the other,
because the last one you did sounded like it was written by my kid brother.
So now we know you can get it right
and not just pick on Vitali's fans like you did the other nite.
Hey maybe some day you can write a poetry book that would be outrages.
Holy freakin crap this poetry **** is contagious.

There's a moderator operating (I hope he's asleep right now) and he has deleted at least 6 posts all of which were rather critical of the "poem". Including mine I might say. This guy, whoever he is definitely interferes with the "freedom of speech" part of the Constitution. I don't write anything that deserves deleting and it'll only take a little more for me to say goodbye. I have plenty to do without being insulted with no cause.

Poems need to rhyme not rhythm and they don't have to rhyme anyway.

Just think , all this time you were a poet and you weren't aware.
