Like Manny vs Floyd, Pirog-GGG is way overdue... It used to be the "who is the baddest talent in MW" kind of fight, but then GGG moved on and made a helluva name for himself.
Hope Pirog will do allright in his return and that his management don't pick a killer for him in his return. Andy Lee, Macklin or Guerrero would be good measuring sticks I guess

Pirog needs a tune up. Then any belt holder.

Any combination of these would be interesting:
        Martinez (RING/WBC)
        Golovkin (WBA)
        Quillin (WBO)
        Chavez Jr
        Pirog
        Geale v. Barker winner (WBA)

        British/Irish scene:
        Barker (possible IBF titleholder)
        Murray (Interim WBA)
        Macklin
        Andy Lee

          MSG undercard anybody?
Seems reasonable. Fight in November, tune up in December, Pirog in 2014

Happy to hear a sign of life! Pirog is just so beautifully to watch. Love his skill level, although some say he lacks the power. For me this is just the sweet science.

A tune up fight in the US on ESPN and afterwards a fight against Quillin would be fair enough, since the WBO has treated Pirog rather as a stepchild. As a former champion of their organization, they should'nt hesitate to offer him a chance against Kid Chocolate. Quillin should also be happy not to have to fight against Martinez or Golovkin.

Naw, I want a tune up and then GG. Pirog has a score to settle with the "overrated one"!

Pirog's best win is a guy GGG stretchered in 3 rounds.

For a while he was the most overrated fighter in boxing, had people claiming Sergio was ducking him the guy had 19 fight and only one win which was somewhat notable.

I thought it was Jacobs who was his best win
