Sturm has fought and defeated Hector Velazco for the IBF title. He defended it against Ruben Fernandez and then defeated Oscar De La Hoya.
Afterwards he beat a former IBC champion in Taylor, a former WBC champion in Cherifi (via KO3), a former WBO champion in Schenk (KO2) and won a WBA title eliminator fight against Jorge Sendra.
He'll fight Masoe for the WBA title in little over a month.
He's got the best jab in the division and is defensively very skilled.
But you're right, he's not a Top 10 Guy. Top 5 is more like it.Comment

I would have to say that Taylor has the best jab in the middleweights. Maybe even Wrights jab is better. Wright is easily the best defensive fighter in the middleweights.Originally posted by DudeSturm has fought and defeated Hector Velazco for the IBF title. Now if it was to be that easy we wouldn't have to start some fights because we would knew beforehand who eventually wins when it comes to the scorecards.Originally posted by Mike Tyson Jr.Um, look at the record books.

We both agree that the impression a fighter left to the public is more important than the actual decision, do we?Comment
