Comments Thread For: Geale Open To Sturm Rematch, Peter Quillin Clash

IBF middleweight champion Daniel Geale appeared on the most recent edition of BoxingScene Radio to talk to us about his upcoming fight against Darren Barker which will mark his debut on U.S. soil. He also spoke to us about potential opponents he may face in the future.

If Geale is successful on Saturday, he will likely have to face his mandatory challenger Felix Sturm in his next fight. The fight would be a rematch of Geale's split decision victory over Sturm last September that took place in Germany. Geale said if they are to meet again he wants the rematch to take place in his home country of Australia.

He thinks he dominated Sturm? Fight could have been 7-5 either way and 7-5 for Sturm was more valid imo. Geale's a joke.

I scored the first fight for Sturm. I thought Murray fought Sturm better.

          He won't fight GGG.

                So no Golovkin? War Barker!

Wait, he probably won't fight Golovkin either.

They asked him a question specifically about Quillin. He answered a question specifically about Quillin. Why would he mention Golovkin in a question about Quillin?
