Jonathan Oquendo (22-3, 15KOs) returns this Saturday night at the El San Juan Resort and Casino in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico - and makes his featherweight debut against Brian Ramirez (10-4, 5KOs). In his last fight in October 2012, Oquendo returned after a year layoff and was knockedout in seven rounds by Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. in a super bantamweight contest. Oquendo hopes to get a title shot in the next twelve months.

Interesting that this article doesn't mention the vehicular accident Oquendo had where his girlfriend was killed. I don't recall if Jonathan suffered significant injuries in the accident, but the trauma of his lady friend's death must still weigh on him. In order to carry on a successful boxing career, a man's mind must be focused.
