Let me first say that I like Adrien Broner, not as a person, but as an entertaining persona and fighter. With that, however, I think he's making a lot of people want to see his big mouth closed and his ass on the canvas.
Further more, unlike Floyd Mayweather, I think Broner is on trajectory to get just that. For one thing, he's a much more aggressive fighter than Floyd, so he takes more contact.
More importantly, Broner is already eyeing some of the more powerful fighters in the sport as he attempts to make his name. He's recently said he intends to fight knock out artist Marcos Maidana, and has further indicated an interest in taking on the powerful Lucas Matthysse.
I love his fearless spirit, but I think Broner may be inviting too much too soon, and we may soon see him staring up from the Canvas soon.
My question is, who's looking forward to that?
