Cleverly has been improving and is now just coming into his prime. I think he'll outwork Kovalev for a decision win.

Cleverly seems to be a guy that can rise to an occasion. But I think Kovalev will be too much.

Cleverly has to fight completely different to how he has done his whole career if he wants to win he is to easy to hit and cant punch so i dont see how he goes the full 12, kovalev has a big punch and he throws solid combinations i got kovalev in 3-7 rounds.

When a fight is close I like to look at boxingrec.com and see exactly who the contestants have been fighting. Cleverleys last 10 opponents had a record of 220 wins and 18 losses when he fought them. Kovalevs last 10 opponents had a record of 142 wins and 65 losses when he fought them. So Cleverely has obviously been fighting at a higher level. If he keeps his head and fighting spirit under control I fancy a cleverly points win.
