I wonder how these fighters, Matthysse and Maidana benefit from signing with Al Haymon? Matthysse would've got the Garcia fight anyway without Al Haymon and Maidana likely would've got the Broner fight without Al Haymon. They earned their shot the hard way. What is Al Haymon doing for them that they didn't already earn without him? You don't see Canelo signing with Al Haymon.

The one downside I can see is that I think Al Haymon fighters don't fight top rank fighters. They're pretty much exclusively Golden Boy promoted. That I don't like. I'd like to see more fighters fighting on both Golden Boy and Top Rank promoted events.

That doesn't make him a scum at all. If you were a boxer you know damn well you'd sign with him in a second. He takes care of his fighters and makes sure they have money in their bank accounts. He's doing his job.

How come no one realizes that Broner fought that way because it was feather fisted Malignaggi. He simply didn't respect Malignaggi and chose to fight that way.

You think he would fight the same way vs Maidana? He's obviously going to use more angles and movement.

Broner doesn't really move much. I think he'll shell up to protect his head v Maidana and counter-punch him a lot. Broner is too technically gifted to lose to Maidana imo.

Maidana will make Broner work more and fight more you would think, it was a very slow almost cautious display by broner vs Paulie. Hopefully Maidana brings it to Broner and makes it a dog fight.

I don't understand why Broner didn't really attack Paulie like Cotto, Hatton, Khan, and even Cano did, Broner had more power and had the skills and speed (at least in his and his fans minds) to really do a number on Pauline.

Broner's response to getting hit was to shell up and not throw, unlike those three he's not willing to take shots so Paulie's volume punching was a problem.
