Yep,he is clearly to big for 154 and he sold his soul for this fight,but win or lose he will still go on to be a huge star,because he is young,but the reason for his stamina issues is the fact he has to lose so much weight and it will only get worse

The fight is happening, even if he does come in heavier. But...

What you're not understanding is that, the penalty is very heavy. Let's say the penalty is 50% of Canelo's purse. And that's quite possible. That means he'd make half less money. And what if he loses too? It's not a smart gamble.

Better to kill yourself and make weight, and lose with all your money intact. Rather than coming in over, take half less money, and still lose anyway!

You guys forget that most boxers dehydrate by like 10lbs for the weigh in and put it back on with no problems, he needs to lose 5 more pounds of fat and then it's just cutting out 10lbs of water.

Both Canelo and Floyd are so tiny for welters, the division is filled with midgets!

5'7" welters!!! They both have decent thickness, its not like they look fragile but they are tiny!!!

If Canelo is at 166 in that pic and is 30 days out he will have dehydrate to an extreme prior to scale day!!! He looks very trim if he's at 166 there, hard to believe 166, the kid is less than 5'8"!!! Ray

Son the kid is 23,,he has been at 154 for years,thats exactly right..he walks around at 170-180 he is not small at all,hell he is in shape to fight at 168 right now...

Hatton walked around at 170 and made 140 with ease it don't mean a fck , why are you lot always arguing irrelevant stuff , the relevant evidence is he made 153 last april with no nutritionists or strength trainers , his weight right now is on the money perfect , he don't have to lose any more flesh than right now , its all fluid losing and regaining , just like Manny losing 14lbs to make 135 , the much bigger Canelo can lose the same very easy , just do the maths !

If you don't know about how making weight works and cant put the known facts together in a logical way , then why hate with unsubstantiated BS .
