Canelo is only 2 centimeters above Floyd and has a slightly shorter reach...
But Canelo has bigger, thicker bones -- therefore Canelo would only make a small middleweight. One cannot change "Nature's gifts"...

How did he make 154 for the Trout fight then? Did he grow THAT much in a few months? I think he'll be alright, that was probably his dry weight. If guys are regaining 15 pounds or so in one day before a fight, I think Canelo will somehow manage to make it.

Canelo is seriously going to be drained, I guess this was Floyd's plan all along. Despite criticising Manny he has done the same of what he accused Manny of doing. At least Manny fought a career we at a catchweight- Margo while cotto offered a Lowe weight which he easily made being in his best condition ever according to himself


Floyd wanted 152 TO drain a 154 fighter. The only hope Canelo has is if he had a meal or two before the weigh in. I seriously cannot see him losing anymore weight, he will be draining himself around 15 pounds to make weight

It could've been worse. Some fighters ask for a Catchweight of 150lbs for a 154 title fight.
