Floyd wouldn't be getting so much **** if he hadn't use CWs to disparage other fighters. You're new here (lol), so you missed some of the context.

The other side of it is, it's highly unusual to be holding a belt and asking for a CW in the same division. Pac never did anything like that, very few "champs" did

Worse than any other fighter? If 152 is draining somebody who fights at 154 and weighed 153.5 in his last then they should move up to 160.

I could understand him getting crap for discrediting someone else then doing it himself, I'm a Floyd fan and I'll agree. But the double standards are ridiculous. Floyd is criticized for fighting at a 2 lbs catchweigh (which I'd be surprised if he makes) but yet the same people who credit Pac's wins discredit this fight? Canelo has been fighting welter's as a 154 lbs fighter but the same people complaining don't complain about that?

And Pac never did this? Didn't he fight De La Hoya at 147, only to later fight Cotto at 145? Then Marquez at 144? He was draining his opponents. The weights for the opponent worked in his favor, just like this current CW works in Mayweather's favor.

The only thing I think the belt changes is whether or not it's on the line. I don't think you should earn/lose a belt at a catchweight.

And I'm new to commenting but not reading the forums or the site.

He is probably not aware that Floyd and his fans went on B1TCH little hissy fits when Pac fought Cotto at a CW. Floyd "I don't do Catchweights, I want a fighter at their natural best, I'm not that type of guy" and then Floyd fans have the nerve to question why he is being called out on it. It was great to see 2-3 Floyd fans show DIGNITY by saying they didn't approve of Floyd's b1tch move. The rest just sunk with their leaders ship and went down in flames making excuses. It was pure joy watching them squirm when the fight was announced at 152.

I don't give a damn about other Floyd fans. Floyd contradicted himself. I acknowledge that. But don't go overboard. Pacquiao and Mayweather aren't cowards or making b*tch moves, they never fought each other because they both always have conditions in their favor. Against each other, they can't do that.

It's just backlash, you missed 3 years and tens of thousands of threads slamming on Pac just for CWs. It was literally the #1 topic here for years. So it's chickens coming home to roost.

Actually all those examples of Pac CWs and similar, and none of them works. He never held a belt in a division, and asked to defend/unify at a CW. Obviously he wasn't asking for a CW vs JMM. JMM was.

It's not a random thing I cooked up. Floyd is a current champ at 154, rated #1 contender, wants CW to unify a bunch of belts, including the lineal. Talk about cheating history. That means if he wins, if you wanna be The Man at 154, you'll have to prove it at 152

It is Floyd and his fans that went overboard, literally for TWO years! But both Pac and Mayweather were too much of Prima Donnas with their conditions, that I agree with.

You do know that Canelo would probly weigh in at 151 right, huge difference from 153 so yes it's a big deal, don't know why you are pretending that weight doest matter, so get your head out your a$$ because every pound lost matters

May should have fought Canelo at 154 why don't you say that instead?

                    • Most of the ****ers on this site don't know **** about weight CLEARLY.

Canelo Vs Trout, Both men weighted 153.5-154, rehydrated and ate back up to around 170

If Canelo is at 166 then he is fine. So please stfu.

Floyd is a bit of puff for not letting Canelo the guy who gasses after 8 go to 154... Floyd scared that he might get tagged in them early rounds then he will be in for a rough fight.
