I still think Mayweather could have saved face by telling Canelo he can weigh in on fight night any weight he prefers, as long as it is not higher than 154 and then put a big fine on anything over 154 - instead of pushing for the fight at 147, then 150, and then settling on 152. I hope you're right, if canelo doesn't make weight that would make the fight look like a joke coupled with the catchweight itself. if he doesn't make weight, does he get to keep the belts if he wins? he won the WBC belt at 154 lbs so it only makes sense.
