Canelo weighed in at 153.5 against Trout but remember that Canelo got gassed out after throwing just a few punches. So now that same guy needs to go down further to 152 and will probably end up being close to 2lbs lighter than vs Trout. This can't be good for Canelo and the pictures show that Canelo doesn't have much more he can lose yet he still needs to drop 15 big pounds!

The good news is that Canelo can always get advice from Oscar on what to do to lose weight
I didnt say anything about Mannys CWs until after the fight , I thought the guys were drained because they looked so flat footed and pushed punches and they had no strength , all signs they were drained , then came the added information of Cotto saying he was weight effected and would never that to his body again for another fighter , Manny ducking him at 154 suggests Cotto is right , then Margo was found with diuretics in dressing room , when Cotto wanted 150 with him Margo said no way , wouldn't be because he knows he cant make it would it .

I don't like CWs including Floyds , but until the fight we don't know if Canelo will be effected , Mannys fights are done and all the information is now in and Cotto Margo and especially Oscar were all weight drained .

If you don't see the stance I take is not about a CW , its about a drained fighter and you don't know that until fight night !

All the information right now suggest Canelo is on target to be in great shape his weight is perfect and he has less % to lose than LWS lose , the fight will tell us if he is drained , if Floyd pushes him around and Canelo is pushing punches with no snap , then he is drained and I will say it , until then your a hater that's full of bulldust .

Cotto and Margarito lost because of Manny's speed and movement. They both had their strength that night but they were to busy fending off Manny but when they connected, you would see that Manny felt it. Go check out that bandage around Manny's head and the issues Manny had after the fight. try to be less bias about it and you will know the truth.

Cotto wanted Margarito at 150-151 CW so that strikes out everything you said about Cotto.

Manny has not fought anyone at 154 so how can you call that a duck? Manny said just before the Margarito fight that he can't go up to 154 and was going to stick to 147. Now I'm sure for the right fight, he would try at a CW again but 154 is just too high for a guy who often didn't even make the full 147 weigh-in.

Roach saw Margarito drinking something on fight night and was concerned that Margarito was cheating. Margarito would NOT be using anything on fight night to lose weight! That would be crazy! Got it?

Canelo is over the target since he actually weighed less against Trout at the 30 day mark and only had to drop down to 154 not the 152 CW. So he is behind schedule compared to Trout and against Trout Canelo had serious stamina issues.

As for your flat-footed comment, those fighters you stated, including Canelo, fight flat-footed. You don't believe me, go ask Floyd!

Noone gives a **** about DLH, he did it to himself. Canelo was just 172 fight night, needs to get down to 152. Neither Cotto nor Marg had to make a 20lb drop. More reloaded facts

When did Canelo ever gain 20 lbs over night?

Yes, professional boxers are a different species of human being. Their bodies function differently than yours and mine. Amongst other things, they're immune to the effects of dehydration, and habits that any licensed medical professional will tell you are not healthy are healthy for boxers.

Funny observation though: despite a low work rate, Canelo's breathing was visibly labored by the sixth round of his fight with Trout, and he's displayed stamina issues throughout his career. Must have been those pre-fight hamburger binges, right?

In any case, while I appreciate your obvious "practical experience" in the sweet science, the next time I need insight into the "workings of a fighter", I think I'll ask somebody who recognizes the insanity of holding Ricky Hatton up as an example of how wonderful it is to gain 20-30 pounds between fights.

He just gained 18, and is being asked to go down 2 more.

He was under 154 for Trout.

if making a 20 pound drop is such a big deal then why fight at 154 in the first place? you say that like an 18 pound drop is such a big difference
