In a real fight, would being able to box like Floyd Mayweather help you?

Defends what kind of street fight it is, but its usually the person that connects the first hard punch that usually win in street fights.

Hit and not get hit, works in or out of the ring.

There's no refs , no rules in a real fight. a guy can kick you in the balls , bite you , eye gouge you...You name it.

Mayweather's style can be effective. But only if the guy you're fighting (for some reason) , decides to only attack you with punches and nothing else...No dirty tricks , no kicks or wrestling , no weapons..etc..
I got into a fight with a friend I new was a better much boxer then me and he was taller by about 5" because I'm Gavin Reese tall, but I'm very strong and it helps me wrestle so I slammed him to the ground and beat the crap out of him.

I've unfortunately caught glimpses of the guys training MMA at my gym and it makes me queasy. Call me a ****phone or whatever you want, but I'm not comfortable being that close with a sweaty dude. Also I talk with and train with boxers and MMA fighters and one thing the MMA fighters have said is that one thing they fear is a good boxer.

If you imagine Manny Pacquiao in a cage I think he would be effective just because his footwork, reaction time, and athleticism blow away any MMA fighter.

Yeah but you have to have fast feet. I would only try that if it was just some guy running in throwing straight punches catch one roll one right hand left hook but if he's just gonna take you down then no it won't work.
