Cotto certainly never really had Margaito hurt even late in his career and Cotto was much better overall boxer then Tito and had tons of power. Only people who put a beat down on Tony were gifted athletic guys who touched his body and hit him with counter shots.. Tito was never that kind of fighter.

trinidad had much better power. they're on different planets in terms of power. trinidad was a bonafide knockout puncher all the way to MW.

Offense sure but defense was the key here Tito swining for the fence all the time playys right into Margaritos two true strengths. His endless stamina and his iron like chin. Like I said you use brute force against Tony you also use up stamina and if you get tired in anyway shape or form margarito will expose it and never let you recover because he will keep coming and coming. Tito had one punch knock out power but who ever remotley came close to hurting Tony with one punch. Who?
