London - After our successful purse bid to host Kid Galahad’s contest for the British super bantamweight title against the highly rated James ‘Jazza’ ****ens, Mick Hennessy has announced today that this superb and much sought after fight, will top the bill as he promotes a night of championship boxing at the Magna Centre on September 14th live on Channel 5 from 8.00pm.
This is a contest between two very talented and undefeated super bantamweights, as Galahad looks to extend his perfect record to 15 wins and add to his WBC International super bantamweight title.
"It's a dream come true fighting for one of the best belts out there, the British title, I can't wait," Galahad said.
"I'm feeling good, feeling strong, feeling sharp - I'm still in good condition from my last fight and I'm ready for September."
In his last contest Galahad outclassed and outgunned the resilient Isaac Nettey at Glow, Bluewater, to give the African fighter his first stoppage defeat in a now 31-fight career.
