Rios is a come forward brawler, same with Margarito, though Margarito would beat Rios probably, especially during his plaster years.
So every come forward brawler is the same as Margarito?

No I said he's probably closer to Margarito than Broner is to Floyd though.....that's undeniable. Broner and Floyd, HUGE gap. Rios and Margarito, maybe a slight gap in terms of ability.

Can watch video of Floyd training if you want to see him beat up a heavy bag. I'd much rather see Floyd challenge himself.

Never really understood the Rios/Margs comparison. I think its mostly made simply because Pac also fought Margs and now he is fighting Rios. Other than that there are a lot of fighters that are tough, mexican and fight on a dime. Margs was much bigger and moved more than Rios does.

It would be the closest thing to Margarito, in which people say Floyd ducked.

You based it on resumes. Margarito has wins over Martinez, Cotto, Clottey, Cintron. What's Rios' best win? Mike Alvardo?

Margarito is infinitely better than Rios in every way. But I know what this is. If Floyd beats Rios it means he beat Margarito in 06

I hope you are not trying to imply that Floyd would have beaten Margs and we should just forget they never fought.

Definitely not. If Rios beats Pacquiao, it means Marquez took everything Pac had left and killed it. Because Pacquiao was still looking pretty good in 2012 beating Bradley and pretty good against Marquez aside from two punches. If he loses to Rios, he really is done.

I said Rios and Margarito is a closer comparison than Floyd/Broner, not that either are good comparisons. Broner shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Mayweather.

I find it hard to rate Marg's win over Sergio, given Sergio was absolutely nothing when they fought.

Pac should retire, and be sound about it. If Floyd fights Rios... it would be like watching a lion being tamed by its trainer at a circus.

Rios shouldn't be in the same sentence as Margarito. It's a very lazy comparison.

It's not a good comparison, but not nearly as asinine as Broner and Mayweather.

Broner's got W's over Ponce, DeMarco, and Paulie.

Floyd's got W's over Genaro, Manfredy, Corrales, C. Hernandez, Chavez, Castillo, Corley, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, Oscar, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, about to be Canelo too.

Rios resume is ehhh. He's got W's over Alvarado, Acosta, Antillon, Murray.

Margarito's got Cintron twice, Clottey, Cotto, etc.

I mean neither are good comparisons really, but one is clearly more ridiculous. The thing is Margarito was bigger than Rios, taller by like 3-4 inches, and had like 5 inches or so in reach too. Pacquiao should kill Rios, if he's still what he was in 2012.
