Nope...certainly not at 147 or 154...now if in a year or so Floyd somehow moved up and challenged GGG that would be a an actual challenge I think (if GGG is the real deal like he seems so far)...

I don't see Canelo or Martinez or any of these welterweights as real threats...

I honestly believe that if Canelo doesn't beat him (or at least push him to the brink) that no one will from 140-154. GGG has the best chance IMO.

        At 147:

Juan Manuel Marquez (now a good strong welterweight)
        Lucas Matthysse
        Keith Thurman
Manny Pacquiao (if he recovers from KO loss)

        154:

        Erislandy Lara
        Demetrius Andrade
        Austin Trout

        Carlos Molina

if austin trout got outboxed and outslicked by canelo, he stands zero chance vs floyd

Styles make fights, you should know that by now. Also, I'm sure there's a reason Floyd is trying to drain Canelo down to 152, wouldn't you agree? Floyd doesn't have the power to tickle Trout, certainly not at the full 154. Lara and Andrade would stand a very good chance of beating Floyd.

yes, and the style canelo used vs trout, is very like what floyd would do to him

Nope, Canelo has the best chance and I'm not giving him much of a chance.

Unlike Canelo (who's fight I scored close for Trout), Floyd would have trouble hurting Trout or getting his respect and cutting off the ring. Trout could also pick-up rounds based on work rate as Floyd tends to have a low output.

Remember that in the Canelo fight Trout was down 4-0/4-0/3-1 on the scorecards by the fourth round--the scores were read every four rounds, in rounds four and 8 (WBC rules). So after the 4th round, Trout had to take the fight to Canelo seeing he was way down on the cards, which prompted the knockdown in round 7. I think I actually had the fight 3-1 for Trout in the first four rounds, which just goes to show that regardless of the proceedings in the fight Canelo was gonna get the win--it's Texas what else can we expect)

Erislandy Lara and Demetrius Andrade would more than likely have an even greater chance at beating Mayweather than Trout would.
