But lets say floyd got put on ice in rd one. Who here would say he deserves a rematch ?
why wouldn't he deserve a rematch if he lost?
no matter how it happened, he'd be entitled to a chance to get even
after a 1st rd KO, Alvarez wouldn't necessarily have to do it right away
but of course Floyd would have a right to ask for it, think he has a clause
but if that happened, Floyd would retire anyway so it wouldn't go down

Floyd wont retire on the back of a loss ,,, sheeese you say some dumb sht .
There's no way there's not a rematch if Mayweather loses, no matter how he loses. He could get brutally dominated for 8 rounds and there would still be a rematch.
Would he want a rematch though? that's the bigger question. He might just move back down to 147.
You never know how certain people react to things like that.
Pacquiao's already proven that he brushes it off like nothing happened, and wants the guy's head on a plate.
Floyd might turn into a shook little puppy.
I know very few fighter will retire on a loss , 99% want to retire ion a win , its just a fighters mentality , your fooled by the style lol , Floyd is a tough guy you have to be to get where he is .
Why are fans so narrow minded its like tunnel vision they just don't see the angles .

pot, kettle...black
anyway, once Floyd gets beat he's finished
the man has no other way to sell himself to casuals after that
diehards would love to see how he responds in his next fight
but Floyd wouldn't care enough to go through with it
if he can't trumpet his record, he's a fish outta water
this of course is assuming his loss was decisive
and a 1st rd KO is pretty damn decisive
