I can now see his corny ass acting line he's some kind of PPV star after his first PPV appearance...dude is annoying as fuck!

Now he will no longer just be "Mr. HBO but a Showtime affiliate"- his words, but now he'll also be "Mr. PPV."

Nah... I can't see them really making it a PPV (probably had to tell Broner this to get him to sign the contract). But if they do, the #'s won't meet Showtime or GBP's expectations IMO. Khan hasn't even had a U.S. PPV and he's waaaay more exciting then Broner. I don't understand why Showtime and GBP are overrating Broners popularity so much... even the hard core fans who WANT to see this fight (me included) are saying no way in hell they're gonna buy this PPV (me included).

I tend to agree with this. I can't understand why posters actually post things about Broner.

That said posters focus too much on his not meeting their exzpectations in the Paulie fight. He still went up to ww from LWand clearly beat Paulie. I think he showed enough in that fight that Maidana will be in trouble if they fight.

Could be because he is a boxer, a world champion boxer and this is a boxing forum, maybe? You just dont want to see anyone post anything adverse about him...never see you complain when one of your ilk posts a thread praising him.
