He called Golovkin out multiple times, got offered like 5 times more money than he's making now, and turned it down. There is no defending such action.

Stevens doesn't deserve what he was offered, let alone more. He's punking out because he and his team probably thought Golovkin wouldn't call his bluff.

But everyone is talking like it is a fact that Stevens camp turned down the fight?? I have yet to see proof of that. But I'm not going to sht on Stevens for something his camp hasn't done yet. I can see why Stevens camp is holding out. They know not everyone is willing to fight GG and it is a gamble if they wait but maybe they are negotiating right now. But I have not seen one article to discredit the one I saw which said they are still considering the offer and have not turned it down. Either they will be full of BS or they will accept. But people here should learn from other fights where a guy was said to be afraid of another guy and then go on to sign. It's a bad look on people who jump to conclusions.

Perhaps....but if Stevens gets the fight, then his team negotiated well. If they fail to, I'll join the chorus of Boo's. But not till there is conclusive news, either way.
