I don't think of anyone that fights 4-4 fighters on that fraud Solo Boxeo Network that just puts out Setup fights. Let him fight on ShoBox against an 8-0 or 13-1 fighter and then we'll see.

Well thats the reason why I was asking the question and thoughts. Though it was a UD, Verdejo IMO looked OK and not spectacular as I was expecting. Seems to be slow bringing up his guard and IMO looks easy to counter. His opponent landed some decent shots. Also, footwork can improve alot. I'm just saying, IMo, the kid has alot of work to do

I didn't see him tonight. But IMO he's one of the most promising prospects from PR.

His counter-punching is clearly the highlight in his skill-set, something that will prove to be useful as he moves up the ladder. He also has a pretty nice jab and nice combinations. On the negative end, I feel like he wasn't accurate enough with the straight right, and since he was fighting a southpaw, that's a punch that needed to be on-point. He also seems to lose effectiveness on the inside. His defense is sometimes too stiff/static for me; I would like to see him counter-punch after parrying or rolling with his opponent's offense. He was very close to getting the stoppage at the end, but as he gains experience, he'll improve as a finisher. I think he showed good judgement by deciding not to force the finish because we've seen guys get reckless and hurt while trying to get the KO.

He did pretty well tonight, could've done better though. Next time he fights a southpaw, I expect to see a tighter performance.

He has a lot of work to do and he still jumping around the ring burning his energy. From what I seen his biggest tool is his counter punching, size and speed. They got to work hard on the defense because that is clearly his biggest weakness.

The kid is still 2 years away from a world title fight so Top Rank better take it easy on him.

He did just fine to me for a 6 rounder your gonna get hit regardless. The other guy brought some poor man's pressure and a wild style IMO plus being 15yrs older then Verdejo. I think he's on the right track I remember him fighting in the Olympics as if it was yesterday so he has improved allot. I was at the fight live hopefully he'll come back and fight around here again.

I've seen Felix fight a few times now, once live. It's still way too early to tell what he might amount to. Verdejo doesn't have the kind of talent that makes your eyes go wide, but he's solid and has a lot of time to improve.

As I quote some of my Canelo fans..."he's a kid, only a few fights".

On a serious note, he needs to work and defense and footwork, and head movement.
