Comments Thread For: Krzystof Wlodarczyk To Move Up? Face Sosnowski?

There is some discussions that WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (48-2-1, 34 KOs) is pondering a move to the heavyweight ranks by 2014. And his first test in the heavyweightg division might come in form of fellow Pole Albert Sosnowski (47-6 -2, 28 KOs). Tomasz Adamek made a similar move in 2009, when he moved up from cruiserweight to heavyweight faced Polish veteran Andrew Golota.

CW division is only doing well in europe. It is tough for an american to get fights in north america. The fights they can get are in europe. At HW there is more money...

There is nothing fot him in CW, Huck is ducking him for years and the only way to make money is to travel around the world with his belt where he can get robbed. With Vitali retiring and WBC rules he can get nr 1 spot and fight for the title right away.

WLODARCZYK is a beast and if moves up it's also because his next fight is a third fight vs FRAGOMENI and he is not interested in it at all;anyway good for GIACOBBE because at this point of his carrer and at his age DIABLO can stop him in few rounds indeed;without DIABLO around perhaps FRAGOMENI will find a new vitality to become world champion again at 44y!!!

Would be interesting no doubt. He obviously highly skilled but i wouldn't have picked him as being big enough for heavyweight.

Anyone know his fight night weights? If he can get to 220lbs or similar be could be a very good addition to the HW scene
