You can make the poll a year later and if Gennady hasn't fought a decent fighter at middleweight then you can call his fans delusional as much as you want. For now he remains untested to you, but to me Gennady is the best in a weak division.

It's not about the fighters. It's about the fans. You know, the fans who say they are the greatest heavyweights ever and Sam Peter is better than Joe Frazier, or that Muhammad Ali was a 180 pound cruiserweight.

I find this "Brits" thing overstated.

That's not to say that a lot of British posters ARE single-minded, but it's exaggerated. Once I had a debate with someone who was "Britting" me, claiming I was saying something or other about a boxer... and I hadn't even mentioned them. It's like they read what they want to.

You also get the hilarious exaggerations after a British fighter loses, like "Lamo, PWN! Every single UK poster on this entire board said Khan had a chin like Oliver McCall... don't they look dumb now?"
