Mike Tyson was dominant. He gets rid of his team and thinks all he has to do is say boo and throw bombs to win. What happens to his career? He turns from a masterful boxer, with great balance, footwork and timing to what? A contender.ya but hes so powerful he lands one right hand and they are out whats he supposed to do dance around for six rounds read a book bake some cookies? he didnt even seem to be looking for the knockout when it came ya it might work against him being so powerful but he can only do so much. Besides he did use his jab did you even watch watch the fight he threw like 16 jabs
Now look at Wilder. He's no Tyson. Yes he's got power but so what? So did Tyson. Power might get you close but you need skill to get the title.Comment

I understand people wanna see KO's and I understand Wilder has undeniable power. But someone needs to advise him to go easier on his opponent's and try to develop his game by getting some rounds in. It doesn't necessarily have to be 10 or 12 rounds. Just go further then what you've gone before. Its really gonna hurt him in the long run.

People may talk about his stamina, but for example look at David Haye. He has only went 12 rounds 3 times in his career. David held 3 cruiserweight titles after only going 1 rounds once, but that talk of "only going 12 rounds once" stopped once the titles were around his waist.
If Wilder keeps on knocking guys out early, well what can you say about that? That isn't a flaw. I'm sure he was prepared to go 12 rounds against Liakhovich, but his power wouldn't let him. He does look in superb shape to go 12 rounds though. Dude looks the same size as Wladimir in pictures but weighs 20lbs lighter.
If that right hand landed solidly on any of the top 10 HW's, I can guarantee you it would trouble them greatly.Comment

And once he runs into a durable guy that can take his punch is when he just might get beat.Originally posted by bboy80Quote:

To me is not about stamina. To me is about experience. That's something you cant teach.Originally posted by KO'erPeople may talk about his stamina, but for example look at David Haye. he can do that in the gym. boxers should never go easy on their opponent, that's just asking for trouble.I understand people wanna see KO's and I understand Wilder has undeniable power.
