Comments Thread For: Bradley Shakes Head at Marquez Testing: It's a Joke!

Here is the thread I posted,Marquez didn't verbally agree to using VADA. He requested USADA. And there was a big deal about which agency they were going to use, either VADA or USADA. Then there was a situation, where both agencies were supposedly going to be used at the same time (which is ****** and expensive). That's when Arum stepped in with his idea to have NSAC do the random testing.
The irony of it all is that, NSAC starting this random drug testing themselves is a huge, huge deal. There's lots of positives that can come out of this now and in the future.
If you think I'm making it up, ask any of these Spanish speakers to translate.Comment

How many boxers have been caught by the state comisons vs how many boxers have been caught by VADA and USDA or whatever they are called? Im Just asking because I haven't seen one shred of evidence that they are any more effective then the comissions. The only people that hype private drug testing are idiot boxing fans who want to make accusations of PED use.Comment

nsac just started doing random testing now....how can we know how effective they are? what are their guidelines, how stringent are their testing, etc? VADA and USADA have been doing extra/random testing longer than nsac has and they got into the sport not too long ago....How many boxers have been caught by the state comisons vs how many boxers have been caught by VADA and USDA or whatever they are called? Consistently good posts, my friend.I've been a fan of Marquez since before his fight against Norwood (I picked him to win) but I thought the way his body changed in the Pacquiao fight was beyond what a man his age should be able to achieve.
I'm still in denial about the amount of PEDs in boxing now and in no way an expert though.Comment

And who have they caught? I think thats a fair question! I mean think about all the high profile guys that have been caught by the commissions over the years. Why is VADA better? Because they say they are better? They are a company thats out to make money so of course they are going to tell you how much better their testing is. What Im asking for is proof! Not for you or everyone else to advertise for them.nsac just started doing random testing now....how can we know how effective they are? what are their guidelines, how stringent are their testing, etc? Here's another thing. Let's say Marquez agreed to use VADA. He could easily and intentionally miss VADA's tests because of drug use. And as a result, VADA can 'fail' him for continually missing tests (let's say 3 tests). You could be right, but Marquez said he didn't understand what Bradley's issue was with the NSAC being as how it'll be the same protocol, the fact of the matter is, Marquez verbally agreed to VADA and has gone back on his word. If Marquez doesn't have a problem with VADA, why not agree to it so that there wouldn't be an issue and both parties can be comfortable?
Will the Commission do anything about that? The answer is NO! Because technically, Marquez didn't fail any drug test. He only was intentionally unavailable. It would be up to Bradley to decide whether he wants to fight or not. But now, since NSAC is doing the testing, if Marquez does try to intentionally miss tests, he's going to have to answer to the Commission about why! It's a big difference.
And this is only the beginning of the differences between NSAC doing random testing versus USADA and VADA.Comment
