  • Using MARQUEZ THE GREAT'S name to promote this fight. How things have changed!

Roach used to say Mayweather is scared to fight PACQUIAO, yet they called Marquez a crybaby for wanting a rematch with PACQUIAO. Marquez fought PACQUIAO 4 times yet they call him scared and now they are the crybabies. If Marquez beats Bradley then their crying only gives MARQUEZ THE GREAT more leverage over the the $20,000,000 he is demanding. Marquez will be the CHAMPION and PACQUIAO NEEDS MARQUEZ! I used to tell my friends that PACQUIAO was on his way to being considered the best of ALL TIME had he continued winning and fighting the younger hungrier fighters BUT MARQUEZ put an end to that conversation!

      • Marquez ended this silly series of back and forth nonsense, by putting Manny to sleep.

Had Manny put Marquez to sleep, then Team Pac would've said that whole thing was over too. Lol

        • lucky punch

In my opinion, Marquez never had a single win against Pacquiao. 1st fight pacquiao clearly won, Marquez suffered busted nose, 3 times tasted the canvass on the very first round, and one ****** judge scored 10-7 instead of 10-6, on that fight Marquez awarded a draw. Lucky right? 2nd fight, it was close but again he tasted the canvas on the 3rd round and almost in the 10. Pacquiao still more faster and stronger. 3rd fight Pacquaio was the aggressor and the champion, Marquez connecting but not enough because Pacquiao connected more although its not that hard compared to Marquez but volume punches was is in Pacquiao side. You have to show the judge that you are more aggressor when you are the challenger, Marquez never hurt Pacquiao. 4rth fight? LUCKY because Pacquiao again, starting to demolished him when that luck punch came. And I'm very confuse, I'ts the first time I saw Marquez had that kind of power. He did that on the 3rd round, Pacquiao went down. Marquez really want to win to avenge his lost and even the urine of ANY ANIMALS he will take it, or any MAGIC, vodoo, or whatever he will do it. Just to win against pacquiao. Now he finally got it, ITS TIME TO RUN AND PRETEND HIS MORE BETTER. ROACH IS RIGHT he's really a *****!

You do realize that Floyd weighed in at 146 for his fight with JMM. Pac weighed in at 147 in he and JMM's last fight. And honestly, JMM has looked good in all his welterweight fights against against everyone not named Floyd Mayweather. I think its time we put tha lil weight excuse to bed don't cha think.

              • As a diehard Pac fan im gonna say this,

Roach you and Pac should of put Marquez away in the 2nd, 3rd, pass up on a 4th fight cause you guys already had 2 wins over Roided Marquez to begin with.. You all know Marquez is Pacs weakness and should of known that Angel PED Heredia was going to juice up Marquez to make damn sure he doesnt get robbed again..

As much as I hate Marquez, respect him as a boxer, but F@CKIN hate him, hes doing the right thing.. Leaving that KO image of their 4 fights in peoples minds.. and YES he was juiced in doing so..

                • Outside of ass-licking documentaries glorifying him as some kind of divine human being, it's quotes like this which end up making CockRoach rather... unlikeable.

                  • What does he mean fight "us"? Is he gonna fight the 1st 6 rounds and Manny fights the last 6?

LAS VEGAS -- Floyd Mayweather Jr. weighed in at 146 pounds on Friday afternoon, two pounds heavier than the weight stipulated in the contract for his comeback fight against lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The excess weight will cost Mayweather $300,000 per pound, meaning Marquez will get an additional $600,000 on top of his $3.2 million guarantee, a source told ESPN.com. Mayweather's minimum guarantee is $10 million, a figure likely to dramatically increase after the pay-per-view receipts are counted.
