IBF cruiserweight champ Yoan Pablo Hernandez, 27-1, can finally resume training in full come August 15, writes boxen-heute.de and now awaits the mandatory defence against Hamburg-based Russian Aleksander Alekseev - a showdown that can happen in October.

Wow this is a fantastic first fight back for Yoan. The CW division is awesome, I always say this, such a shame that there isn't more interest/TV coverage from the USA networks. There is little to no ducking, the top fighters fight the top fighters as well as top contenders/prospects (Wlod-Chakhkiev)

Just an overall very competitive division with a bunch of guys on top who don't care to be "protected," they just want to fight.
