I was one of Wilder's biggest supporters here on the boards but I'm having trouble being a fan in lieu of his domestic assault charges.

This is all part of the ''project''.

I don't know how Jennings handled The White wolf, but Wilder's performance will and should be compared to what Jennings did since they are the 2 biggest American hopefuls.

I'm not impressed by Wilder overall, we'll see what he can do when he fights someone who has the ability to ask the right questions.

I wouldn't invest too much hope in these guys.

If the article was comparing Olympic medal winners I believe Francesco Damiani was a better fighter then Wilder will ever be.

Agreed. I'd pick Arreola to beat any other American fighter, and he's already been definitively beaten by a K. People put too much stock in undefeated records. Jennings and Wilder have fought the worst competition of all the top HW Americans, hence are undefeated. I'd put Arreola, Thompson, Scott, Wilder and even Mitchell all above Jennings. He has the opportunity to change my mind if he takes the Adamek fight and wins, just don't see it happening.

The thing which must be considered is that this K is not nearly the same as that K. Klitschko gave a brilliant exhibition of footwork and ring generalship against Arreola, absolutely great. The most recent fight I saw him in, I think it was against Charr, I noticed that not only was he slower but he was hesitant to punch, and seemed to wait that extra second, so that often the opportunity would be gone.

I couldn't help but notice it as it was very obvious. I think it's time for him to retire.

Guys that pad their records usally look less impresive than Wilder. Audley Harrison is a top 50 guy and he wasnt even in the ring with Wilder. Not since Tyson has anyone smoked through this level of competition. The only fighter I would pick to beat Wilder is Haye and that could change any day.

Just how good is Bermane Stiverne? He was almost as dominante as Vitali against Arreola.
