    Should Manny retire?

Ok, I know a lot of you think I'm crazy though hear me out first. I completely understand he still has at least 2 mega fights with a Barrera and Marquez rematch. Now, I'm thinking it like this. He's knocked out Barrera and Morales, 2 of the best. Whether or not Barrera was affected with his crap, I don't think it'll change the outcome because even at his highest conditioning, he can't have the stamina to keep up with Manny(look at his 12th round against Morales and taking rounds off). The Marquez fight, I don't think Manny will go down to 126lbs and Marquez won't come up to 130lbs, nor do I think he honest wants to rematch Manny deep inside him. Sure he showed amazing heart to make that comeback, though he does not seem like the type of guy that enjoyed going through that hell. It was a 1 time type of deal I suppose for him and he figure he did a good job in it. So now let's say the rematch doesn't happen and let that draw be forever known as an amazing draw. One of those draws that you'd never imagine had a fight of the year candidate contained within it. So now, Manny doesn't do either match and he just leaves now while he's great. He's done an amazing accomplishment for himself and the country, why ruin it? Manny is a great guy in and outside of the ring, can you honestly see the unfortunately moment, Manny loses by KO or something to some younger hungry fighter when he doesn't need to? I don't know though if Manny were to retire right now, I would not mind at all and say, GOOD for you Manny! Besides, his style will eventually catch up to him, and it will be sad to see a JCC vs Tszyu type match in the future

im sorry but to suggest a fighter at his obvious peak (and maybe he can show us even more) to retire is pretty crazy to me.. i appreciate you writing all that out though instead of just suggesting it with nothing else to say..

You can take the most amazing, talented fighter of all-time in the sport, but even he and the rest will all come down at some stage in their career's. It's life progression, people grow old and move on. But you shouldn't shelter something like that because it could possibly prevent even more history to be made and greater events to occur if it's possible, which is definately the case for a fighter like Manny Pacquiao.

saw this post in another forum "...Corrales is afraid of my man Popo, bad luck for him being such a chicken he got hammered by a mexican...now we have another champion Valdemir, he'll punish Manny Pacquiao...Viva Brasilia"

        Pac should retire now.

pac should fight all champs in his division..2 or 3 fights then retire..and since barera is fighting on 135..there is a chance to get that belt if something happens to barera.then mosquera and barrios..

Manny's washed up. He looked slow and weak against Morales. Retire already, geezer.

                Nah ElPacman,

you just nervous he's reached the peak of his career cuz it feel complete. I feel ya, but now hes got a job to cement his name. As big as these wins are, he gets bigger if he enforces his reign for years till he retires. Taylor said it, it's easy to get to the top, its staying there thats hard. oh yeah lol, hes on crack too cuz it aint easy getting there
