Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that he finalized a tripleheader for September 12th, with three high stakes contests taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The card will be presented as a fight week appetizer, being presented two days before the huge Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Saul Alvarez Showtime Pay-Per-View, also being staged at the MGM. The tripleheader will be televised by Fox Sports 2 (formerly known as Fuel TV).

They needed a second Porter vs Diaz fight, i thought Porter got a gift decision draw and they needed to settle it with a rematch.
