And I don't know if his foot work is good enough to keep Guerrero away, because if this fight is fought in the clinches Thurmans in trouble.
Like I said before Thurman better practice throwing that upper cut in the clinches.
Is he? He only did that to Berto after figuring out Berto's muscles were all for show and he is actually rather weak in clinches. I also found it extremely dirty and boring, i hope he doesnt fight like that again

Nice match-up. I'm leaning towards Thurman.

I got the ghost he has underrated power and good chin and con box better then given credit for. Thirkan can't match the experience

Dela Hoya Is Lining Up Great Wars To Be Enjoyed; This Fight No Upside For Guerrero!

Guerrero just trained for the fight of his life, the pinnacle of his career, so that Mayweather could run and pop shot all night, and Guerrero never got off. Quite a kill-joy. I don't see how Guerrero gets UP for a fight with Thurman, who has NOTHING to lose, looked great in his last fight, horrible in the fight before. This is dangerous for Guerrero if he's out to lunch and not fully motivated. Had Mayweather stood in their and fought Guerrero like he fought Ortiz and Cotto, Guerrero would have stopped Floyd. So he found Floyd on his bike all night, and that had to have really been a major disappointment, having Floyd not engage. Thurman/Guerrero will make for a war like we saw Guerrero have with Berto and with Lopez, but you can't take too many of those wars without it taking too much out of you. Hence why Floyd changed courses. Guerrero should have taken a lighter fight with a Broner, or a Devon Alexander, or the winner of Bradley/Marquez. Not a good choice of opponent for Guerrero. The fans will love the figh though.

Interesting fight, but I think Thurman is just too physically strong for Guerrero. People say the Ghost has grown into a full fledged welter, but I'm not so convinced. Still, I'd love to watch this one.

Got Thurman by stoppage, Guerrero isn't very good at adjusting and he has big balls which will cost him in this fight.

Eventually Thurman will catch him and hurt him bad.

Wow what a fight - difficult to pick a winner both are warriors but I've always said Thurman is a special talent and this will be his time to shine- I have seen something in Thurman that not many fighters these days have - the last fighter was Joe Calzaghe where they adapt to conditions in the ring and work out their opponent - Thurman proved thIS in his last fight he worked Chavez out and adapted when needed - something you can't train for you are born with this I call it the seventh sense.
