Not only that, but Berto/Aydin are not even that good themselves, B-level fighters on their best day. Ghost was coming from a layoff though, but being a top WW on those two wins alone is undeserving. He still needs to truly earn his spot and beating a contender like Thurman would accomplish that.

Guerrero is very good at smothering punches and fighting in the inside, something Thurman didn't look to comfortable with in his last fight.
And I don't know if his foot work is good enough to keep Guerrero away, because if this fight is fought in the clinches Thurmans in trouble.
Like I said before Thurman better practice throwing that upper cut in the clinches.

I agree, both need this fight. I hope it gets made, but I have feeling they aren't going to get very big offers. I think Showtime's budget is low. Thurman would take it, I have a feeling Guerrero might be insulted. Hope it gets done.

Thurman's movement will keep him out of trouble, he's not the type to lay on the ropes the way Berto did. Keep in mind, Chaves showed to be a better counter puncher than most of us thought, also a better puncher than Guerrero, I don't see Thurman being that uncomfortable.

Thurman is in line for a title shot, so the risk is worth it. Ghost knows what it's like to be overlooked, so I think he'll take the fight if presented to him.

Thurman is so much of a counter puncher at heart that he'll use his legs until the counter punching opportunities present themselves, and Guerrero will open up enough to feed into that. Also, if Thurman doesn't respect your power he'll be the aggressor and throw serious bombs, watch the Quintana fight. You have to favor Thurman here. Like I said a while ago, I like Thurman over a lot of these top WWs.

I was very impressed with Chavez never seen him fight before and he does hit harder then Geurrero. Also Thurman made some impressive adjustments during that fight I just don't know if he is ready for Guerrero.

So you rather watch him fight someone that can't compete and barely have a name instead of a competitive much more name listed fight? Ok..

                    GREAT FIGHT.

Either Robert Guerrero proves he's a good Welterweight fighter or Keith Thurman takes the next step on the road to Mayweather down the line.

It's one of his favorite fighters. I'd watch Cotto vs anyone over any match. Might sound dumb, but that's the way it is
