I never understood when someone says that a particular fighter has deceptive speed. I have perfect vision and if a fighter has fast hands, then its quite obvious. When someone is slow then its quite obvious. What's with all the talk about how some fighters have underrated or deceptive speed? To me Danny Garcia is has just average speed. He's been successful because of his ability to punch with his opponent and has some decent power behind his punches. I dont really see anything special about him though.

cant really judge a fighters speed purely off of pad work. cottos pad work is very slow, doesnt mean hes slow. with that said neither matthysse or garcia are fast but timing beats speed and garcia has shown to have great timing, so has matthysse, should be a good fight regardless of what haters and ****riders would like you to believe
