A few months ago, trainer Angel Garcia spoke to BoxingScene.com and took several shots at two-time Olympic champion Zou Shiming of China. Garcia was unhappy with the way HBO was pushing Shiming, and the way Shiming was getting paid, in comparison to many Olympians from the United States who are not getting paid and unable to get major television dates for several years.
On Thursday, Garcia once again took aim at Shiming, 32-years-old, over his recent showcase on HBO and the paycheck he received of $500,000 for only his second pro fight, which came against an 18-year-old prospect from Mexico, Jesus Ortega.
