According to Bob, they never named an agency by name, it just said independent agencyComment

Of course. This is a classic case of confirmation bias. This refers to when a person eagerly accepts a claim that supports their position while dismissing any evidence that goes against their position. Marquez can pass all tests, be on OST (24, 365) and you will still get people saying that he is juicing. Yet lets say, Marquez begins to lose his hair, people who think he is on PEDs will say its because he is juicing, when the more likely explanation is he is losing his hair due to aging. Of course, people who are adament that Marquez is clean will accept every clean test but if he fails one test they are likely to dismiss it or say it is a comspiracy, false positive, or something else.Comment

I really like the idea of NSAC handling the extra random testing. You don't have to worry about USADA/VADA not handing over the results to commission and you don't have to worry about USADA vs VADA pissing contests. As long as they use a WADA accredited lab and follow the WADA protocol, it's all good. And once again, Pacquiao is proven right. Just let the commission do their job.
The only advantage to VADA is that we know for sure carbon isotope ratio testing is used on every sample. I found some quotes from the executive director of the Sports Medicine Research and Testing Lab (the lab for Marquez-Bradley) that shows his support for using CIR in every sample though.
http://www.medpagetoday.com/TheGupta...hopedics/40446"(The isotope test) is the only way we can definitively say whether someone took exogenous testosterone," said Daniel Eichner, executive director of the WADA-approved Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory in Salt Lake City.
He said requiring labs to run the isotope ratio test on every sample would probably reduce the number of samples that testing programs could run overall.
But, he said, if time and money were not an issue, universal IRMS testing could potentially improve testing programs.
"The more tests you can do, the better a chance you have of catching people," said Eichner. "If time and money were not an issue, of course, do it on every one of them."
Supposedly Arum payed 35k for the testing so money hopefully shouldn't be an issue to use CIR on every sample.Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 08-07-2013, 09:38 PM.Comment

Yup, thats it 100%. Im not sure why it is their business who tests the other fighter. You're job is to take samples and test them for prohibited substances, but politics are taking over.Comment

why is tim wasting his own money on those additional tests?
just admit you didnt read the contract!!!!!!! LOL
his bluff was called a long time ago. he was fat and wanted to get out of the fight.
he thought jmm would not agree to anything. he could never give any legit reason why WADA protocol should not be used...just errr umm i ii want to use vada.
he made jmm look bad even though his signature has been on the contract this whole time!!!! tim is on the decline as it is, and he was fat. nothing but controversy and whining around this dudes fights
