The Myth of "El Tornado De Tijuana"

Never have I heard so much praise about a known Cheater. Antonio Margarito has been and still is talked about as if he was a hero and not a cheat. Yes the man had an Iron Chin but with an even weaker Morals, Respect for the sport and his fans. Trinidad has been crucified for the same mistake/judgment and others for less.

Is there a reason for this praise, or is ignorance to blame. Both the California Justice Department as well as the Athletic Commission had shown the illegal move he made and yet the man is praised for a questionable career.

If a fighter gets caught with PED's, he is a cheat AND crucified. Should it not be the same with a fighter caught with loaded gloves.

Some claim it could have been for just that fight, or its not his fault but his trainers. But to use loaded gloves against a fight that is only a small image of his old self, and not against a young undefeated Puerto Rican becomes ignorance!

When will people see him for what he truely is, a cheater who wasn't a has been but a never was! A man who couldn't stand real competition and opted for the easy way out!

A legend of how he got away with the crime for so long.
PEDs are bad, but plaster wrap to help the strength of your punch is pathetic and in its own category of being a p***y!

If Margarito really did have plaster off paris in his gloves all that would have happened is the pop breaking up on first contact with the opponent and thus really only hurting Margarito. This was shown funnily enough in an experiment on the legend of one of your favourite fighters Dempsey when he fought Willard

Funny you bring up Dempsey, when that myth has been torn apart and disproved for years. Read up on your boxing history.

              Agreed

Margarito's a scumbag a disgrace to the sport of boxing and all he had was the good chin oh and his plaster to cheat his way to victory

As soon as that got taken away we all saw what happened.........

Yes I know but they still did the experiment which proved plaster of paris would break up on first contact
